Domestic Cleaning on the Sims4 and is it Really Needed?

The Sims4, Do They Really Do Domestic Cleaning? And Does it Make Much Difference in The Game Play?

In the sims4, I make my Sims do domestic cleaning, as I hate mess in my home and the same goes with my Sims home. But when I tell them to do the domestic cleaning like clean up after dinner, they always seem to leave plates behind or collect them in a pile and leave them in the middle of the floor.  Sometimes I don’t see them do this and wonder why my Sim is uncomfortable because the plate starts to smell, and they still leave it smelling rather than cleaning it up!

Can you imagine leaving stale food for that long and not cleaning it up? It would make you feel sick and you would end up with cockroaches in the kitchen.

In the Sims2, if you left mouldy food, the cockroaches did come and you could get your Sim to stomp on them if you didn’t get the exterminator out. The cockroaches used to be outside as well, if you left the rubbish on the pavement or in the garden.

So you use to have to do domestic cleaning to an extent in the Sims2 or you would get ill from the bugs. Now on the Sims4 you can leave the rubbish on the pavement or in the garden and it turns to a trash plant, which you can cook and eat! Yuk!

The world would look prettier if all the rubbish that people dropped turned into trash plants, but unfortunately this don’t happen and cleaning up your garden can be a hassle right, as most of the time it ends up not being your rubbish. Our domestic cleaning at Sunny Rain HouseKeepers includes the service of tiding your garden, so we will take out your trash plants for you.

Domestic cleaning also includes cleaning the bathroom and toilet. Well my Sims toilet hardly ever gets dirty and smelly. Don’t know about you, but my toilet needs cleaning at least twice a week minimum. The same goes with the kitchen appliances. On the Sims4, the kitchen appliances break more than what they need cleaning. Although domestic cleaning can be hard, I would rather do domestic cleaning than try and fix electoral appliances.

In the Sims4 they can get electrocuted when trying to fix these appliances, which would properly happen to me in real life.  The Sims don’t even have a washing machine. Can you imagine not having to do your washing and putting it away? How much cheaper would your electric bill be and extra free time you would have? I know the money I saved from the electric bill would still go to the electric company as with all that extra free time, I would be playing the Sims4.

With hardly any domestic cleaning in the Sims4, you can still get your Sim to hire a domestic cleaning service. This cleaning service charges 40 simollions plus 10 simoillions an hour. So if you wanted a Sim cleaner for your Sims house it would cost you over 50simoillions each time. Then as there is not much cleaning and tiding to do they stand around and chat to your Sim, which is good if your Sims social is low but when they leave they still charge you for how long you have been talking to them. What a cheek!

So be warned before you hire a Sim domestic cleaning service. Here at Sunny Rain HouseKeepers, we won’t charge you for a ‘hello’ and little chat, as being polite and friendly comes naturally to us and free of charge. So with us, it’s just the domestic cleaning you will be paying for, which I’m sure there will be more cleaning in your house than in my Sims house.

Although domestic cleaning is easier in the Sims4 land and a cleaning service is hardly needed, in the real world domestic cleaning can take hours to get your house clean and fresh and it never ends.  And it is defiantly needed to keep the germs and cockroaches away!

A domestic cleaning service can be really helpful if you struggle with day to day tasks or you just want extra time to make better memories in life. Sunny Rain HouseKeepers can do this for you and more, as there really isn’t much we won’t do for you.

So now you know what company to hire your domestic cleaner from, don’t forget to buy your Sims4 expansion pack, Get Together, which is out now and with all that extra time you’ll get not doing the domestic cleaning, you will have more time to look after you Sims.
